General notes

  • Please handle the drums, like all other instruments, with care!
  • Please don't move any cables on the drums themselves, they are all set up so that everything can be used perfectly.
  • If something seems strange to you, something is wrong with the drums or something has broken, please be sure to write an email to ak-musik@hadiko.de

Before playing

  • When practising, please set the mixer and the volume control on the drums to the maximum levels shown in the picture on the right (there are rooms directly above), and it is even better if you use headphones.
  • If you want to play louder or play between 8pm and 9am, please use headphones.
  • Only use drumsticks (no brooms) on them (there are some in the room)
  • Only use the rubber side of the foot machine (explicitly NOT the felt side)
  • Each drum can be adjusted individually by a control on the side of the drum - please pay attention to the volume.
  • When using the speakers, follow the procedure below: [mixer on -> speakers on] -> turn down the input control on the mixer -> turn on the e-drum -> level it on the mixer (the 12 o'clock position should fit quite well).
  • The instructions for the e-drums are ready in the room.
  • To adjust the angles of the drums, cymbals, etc. you can use the silver drum key, which is enclosed.

After playing

  • Turn off the e-drum -> turn down the input control on the mixer -> turn off the speakers -> turn off the mixer.
  • Bitterly leave the drum kit in such a way that the user after you can use it again without much effort (for example, if you have adjusted many things in the settings or made big changes to the position of the drums and cymbals).
  • When you are finished practising and leave the room, unplug the drum kit from the wall socket.

More info about our drums

In addition, there is a user manual online from the manufacturer. (German from page 2 on). Here, the various modes offered by the drum kit and its use with external devices are described. You can do a lot with this drum kit (metronome, recording, playing songs from other devices and much more) -> it is worth reading!
