The washing machine ministers (wamami) are selling washing coins, cleaning the wama-room and are responsible for the washing machines in general. You can contact us by mail: wama@hadiko.de

Pricing

A washing token costs you 0,50 EUR; if you pay 5 EUR you'll get ten washing tokens. If you are a single-buyer the maximum amount of washing tokens will be ten.

Silas F204 also has liquid washing agent for 5€ and plastic measuring cups for free.

If you are buying for your floor you'll be able to receive lager amounts of tokens. We advice you to organize buying the washing tokens within your floor. This means one member of your floor buys a larger amount of tokens and then resells it to the other residents of your floor. This has the advantage of not depending on the selling times of the washing machine ministers. This also has the advantage that the ministers aren't forced to keep so many washing tokens in currency - which will reduce the acquisitions costs. If you do not have any washing tokens left, but you really need to wash, please first ask your floor neigbours prior to asking the washing machine minister outside the selling hours.

How can I wash?

To start the washing machines you need Waschmünzen (washing coins/tokens), which can be bought at the Waschmaschinenminister. You'll need one coin for the washing machine and one for the dryer. Please consider the office hours of the Waschmaschinenminister, if you want to buy coins. Some floors buy a greater amount of coins and sell them internaly on their floor.

Defects and troubles

If you encounter any problems please leave a detailed message, or contact the wamami. As more detailed the description is, as sooner we are able to solve the problem. If you "loose" one coin due to a error with the washing machine please contact the wamami.

FAQ

  • Where is the wama- room?

You can find it in the basement of K3. When going down the stairs, you will find a sign just next to the beer-cage.

  • How can I even wash?

You need a washing coin that you must put into the counter, and of course washing agent and laundry. You can also find a detailed Tutorial above this FAQ.

  • In urgent cases, can I also buy washing coins when it's not official selling time?

Yes, but we may not be at home.

  • I threw in a coin and pushed the green Button, but nothing happens.

The counters are quite old and tend to do strange things. Make sure that you completely pulled out the slot again and that the door is closed. If you reopen the door after having thrown in a coin, the coin is gone. If the counter has "stolen" your coin, you may visit us and get replacement.

  • The washing machine doesn't open.

If the yellow button doesn't work, there is an emergency- lever under the cover of the filter.

  • There is still water in the machine.

If the program has finished, but the water hasn't been pumped off, there is the possibility to choose the program "Extra-Abpumpen" (letter H) and "Extra-Schleudern" (letter G). These programs need no Extra-coin.

  • Do I have to bring my own washing agent?

Yes. But we also sell stuff during our normal selling times.

  • How long does one washing process take?

About 1 hour maximum.

  • I am moving out and still have coins left.

You can change them back anytime. Please don't keep coins or throw them away, when you move out. Our supply will shrink more and more.
