In the inventory of the AK Musik is an electric piano, which is located in the Musikraum in K4.

General instructions for use

• The instrument must be checked for damage or defects before playing. Any abnormalities (which are not explicitly noted here in this article) should be reported immediately to the [AK Musik].
• The instrument and its controls must be handled with care.
• Changes to the construction or programming should be undone after use - especially if they require technical knowledge from the next user to be able to use the instrument again. Exceptions are to be discussed with the AK Musik and mentioned here in this article.

Sound configuration

You are in the room and want to start using the electric piano and now you need sound to play. Here are instructions for the possible configurations.

The on-off switch of the electric piano is at the back on the left side.

The outputs of the electric piano: on the left are the outputs for the mixing console, on the right is the headphone output with adapter for small jack plugs.

The master volume control of the electric piano is on the far left.

Headphones

You want to play alone with headphones via jack cable?
Steps before playing:

1. Make sure the speakers or mixer are turned off or turn down the input level on the mixer.
2. Switch on the unit via the switch on the back (seen from the front) on the far right.
3. Set a moderate volume with the master control (e.g. one third or completely off).
4. Plug in the headphones, with or without an adapter if necessary.
5. Play and adjust the volume to your own needs with the master control.

Steps after playing:

1. Switch off the unit.
2. Unplug the headphones.
3. Plug the adapter back in if necessary (as in the picture).
4. Move the master volume control to the 12 o'clock position (as in the picture).

Loudspeaker

You want to play alone or with others via the speakers?
Steps before playing:

1. Make sure the speakers or the mixer are switched off or turn down the input level on the mixer.
2. Switch on the unit via the switch on the back (seen from the front) on the far right.
3. Move the master volume control to the 12 o'clock position (as shown in the picture).
4. Set the input level and output level on the mixer to the 12 o'clock position (as shown in the picture).
5. Switch on the speakers.
6. Play and adjust the volume according to your own needs (and the time) with the master control on the unit.

Steps after playing:

1. Turn off the speakers.
2. Turn off the mixer or turn down the input level on the mixer.
3. Switch off the unit.
4. Move the master volume control to the 12 o'clock position (as in the picture).
